Mr.Andreas Knüssi has been appointed as the general manager of InterContinental Fuzhou.

Intercontinental Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Mr. Andreas Knüssi as the General Manager of InterContinental Fuzhou.

Mr.Andreas Knüssi comes from Switzerlandand started his hotel career in 1978. He has 37 years’experience in hospitality industry. He spent his early career years in culinary art with passion. He has worked in world well-known international branded hotels: Four Seasons Hotel Bali, Regent Kuala Lumpur and Shangri-La Makati Philippines as Executive Chef. In 1999, Mr. Andreas Knüssi received the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award for being one of the world’s best chefs.

Prior totaking up this new position, he was the General Managerof InterContinental Dalian. He demonstrated solid functional and leadership competency and make the InterContinental Dalian to the city label. With rich Food & Beverage experience and strong leadership, Mr. Andreas Knüssi is the perfect choice for the iconic InterContinental Fuzhou which is the tallest hotel in the city and he will bring the brand-new look to the Fuzhou city.

In his spare time, he loves scuba diving, collecting mini models of Corvette cars and he spends a lot of time with his young daughter.
