How to better improve the brand influence of China’s hotel industry? With this question, we come from all corners of the country, gathering at the New World Beijing Hotel to participate in “The Most Influential Brand Award Ceremony in Hospitality Industry, 2014”. Here, I would like to thank for the warm invitation from today’s sponsor-Meadin.com especially. It’s really my honor to attend the awards ceremony, and to witness the moment of glory of the development of China’s hotel brands with so many friends of hotel industry and media.

Brand is a kind of invisible competition means in the sustainable development of enterprises, besides, it is set up by enterprises through their own product service and consumers, and it is also the enterprises’ internal substances in the external performance of the consumer level. From the perspective of the development of the world hotel brands, the development of China’s hotel brands is backward in the starting point. But with the rapid development and quality product services, China’s hotel brands will surely catch up with foreign hotel brands one day.

First of all, the global integration process makes China’s hotel face with a more intense competition. High-scale hotel groups are competing for mid-scale market through continuous brand innovation, and economic hotel groups are beginning to deploy to high and mid-scale market.Furthermore, severe market challenge makes China’s hotels alert to current situation, compete with new thoughts and new methods, and bring more hotel brands shine in both inside and outside the industry, and then promote the value and position of hotel brands.

Secondly, the overall rise of the Internet has boosted the development of China's hotel industry brand. The appearance and development of WeChat hold up the mobile internet marketing, the rise of micro-blog and video websites open the customer experience marketing, and the emergence of new media broaden the channels of communication greatly. Chinese hotels perfectly use the rapid popularization of “Internet +”concept to enhance the brand influence instead of shrinking the market under the influence of national policy or decay with china’s economic transformation.

Thirdly, the promotion of “One Belt and One Road” strategy brings new opportunities for China's hotel brands. Since the launch of the construction concept of “One Belt and One Road”, it has received active supports and practices from a number of countries. China’s hotel industry must seize new opportunities in this global linkage and settle out of its own country into all over the world successfully. Under the new situation, we need more influential hotel brands to boost the development of China’s hotel industry.

All sorts of opportunities and challenges need the data monitoring from MBI because it can reflect the influence of brands in hotel industry objectively and fairly on the Internet and mobile Internet, and it is recognized by both domestic and international hotel groups.
